LOVST TOKYO is a lifestyle brand that offers products made from upcycled fruits and vegetables, including "apple leather" made from discarded apples and other plant-derived leather items.

Our brand concept is:

"A life of good circulation, starting with upcycling"

With this theme, we address consumers' emotional concerns (guilt) when making purchases. By offering products that not only look good (fashionable) but also consider animals and the planet, we propose a comfortable lifestyle with good circulation for both mind and body.

The name LOVST TOKYO (Lavist Tokyo) also encapsulates the meaning:

"LOve + Vegan/Variety (diverse values like veganism)
+ 1ST (a culture that respects these first and foremost) + TOKYO (disseminating from Tokyo)"


2. How to purchase products

LOVST TOKYO currently operates mainly through its online store, but we regularly hold pop-ups and showroom exhibitions, providing opportunities for you to see our products in person.

Regarding the product

Where are your products manufactured?

Our products are primarily manufactured in sewing workshops in Japan or China. We strive daily to plan and develop products so that we can offer items of appropriate quality at suitable prices. Additionally, each item is carefully inspected at our sales offices before being prepared for delivery.

The item I wanted is sold out! Can I still buy it?

For inquiries regarding restock availability, pre-orders, or any other questions, please feel free to contact us via our contact page or official LINE account.

At LOVST TOKYO, we prioritize not overproducing items to avoid unsold inventory from mass production and excessive sales. Depending on the situation, you may need to wait until the next production run. We appreciate your understanding.

When purchasing online, I'm concerned about the sizing and how it will look in person.

To ensure you can enjoy shopping online, we aim to provide as many images of product details as possible.

Can you gift-wrap this for me?

Currently, gift packaging is only available for a limited number of products (information is provided on the respective product pages). If you wish to have gift packaging, please add it to your shopping cart along with the product. For details on the packaging, please click here.

How should I care for vegan leather?

If the surface gets dirty, wipe it with a towel wrung out in warm water. Then, gently wipe it dry with a soft towel. Regularly wiping away dirt and moisture to keep it clean is the secret to its longevity. A special care cream is also available.

How long does it take for apple leather to degrade?

Generally, it is said that the surface of synthetic leather, which is cheaply and widely distributed, can peel off in 2-3 years of use.

However, the "Apple Leather" handled by LOVST TOKYO is made with a high-quality polyurethane resin, so although it depends on how it's used, you can generally use it with confidence for 5 years.

Furthermore, "aplena," a domestic apple leather, uses polycarbonate-based resin, which is a type of polyurethane. Therefore, it has achieved a 10-year passing standard in the jungle test*, which measures the degree of deterioration. (Polycarbonate-based resins are generally used in highly durable furniture such as car seats and sofas.)

*The jungle test is an accelerated aging test that evaluates the durability of soft leather by placing it in a room artificially created with 95% humidity and 70 degrees Celsius and promoting its deterioration.

The product I'm using broke down! Can I request a repair?

LOVST TOKYO offers a repair service.

If your product is broken or you have any concerns, please feel free to contact us via our official LINE or inquiry form.

We will assess the condition of your product and respond accordingly.

Please note that repair costs will be estimated after assessing the condition, so please contact us for a consultation.

Does the product come with a warranty?

The standard warranty period for LOVST TOKYO items is three months from the date of delivery.

We also offer LOVST TOKYO's unique care program, "LOVST Care Program," which provides warranty extensions and long-term care proposals. This program is recommended for those who wish to use their products with greater peace of mind!

Will you collect or recycle old products?

Currently, only "bags" are collected and recycled.

If you bring your used bag to our showroom or POP-UP store, or mail it to our office (we apologize, but the shipping fee will be borne by the customer), you will receive "LT Seeds worth 500 yen," and LOVST TOKYO will also donate 500 yen to a tree-planting organization.

Additionally, we plan to utilize usable parts of the collected bags as remade products.

Automated Emails and Inquiries

Order confirmation emails and replies to inquiries are not reaching me.

Upon order confirmation, an immediate order confirmation email will be sent. For inquiries, an email will be sent to your registered email address within business hours (11:00-18:00).

If you do not receive an email, please check your spam or trash folder, as it may have been automatically sorted there.

Regarding payment

What payment methods do you accept?

・Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)

・Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, PayPal

・Bank Transfer (Rakuten Bank): Orders will be shipped after payment confirmation.

Can I get a receipt?

When placing your order, please indicate in the remarks column that you would like a receipt.

After the item has been shipped, we will send it to you via a separate email. Please download it once it arrives.

Please note that for payments exceeding 50,000 yen, we will explicitly state "Paid by Credit Card" in the proviso and will not attach revenue stamps.

If I buy a lot of items, can I get a discount?

Registering for our "LT-SEED" Loyalty Program grants you various benefits based on your purchase amount.

Gift Cards (Coupons)

I received a coupon. How do I use it?

After adding items to your cart and tapping "Proceed to Checkout," you can enter your coupon code on the payment screen. Look for the "Add a discount" or "Coupon code or gift card" field on the screen. Enter your coupon code there and apply it to see the discount reflected.

How can I get a coupon?

Subscribe to our email newsletter and add us as a friend on official LINE to receive exclusive coupons for product discounts and free shipping that you can use immediately.

I have two coupons. Can I use them both at once?

The following combinations can be used together:

・"WELCOME Coupon (LINE Registration)" and "LOVE-LETTER (Email Newsletter Subscriber Benefit)"
・"Coupons issued from LT-SEED (member-exclusive points)" and "Discount coupons applied during various campaigns (campaigns are held periodically)"

Please note that birthday coupons cannot be used in conjunction with other coupons.

About shipping

How much is the shipping?

Shipping costs are as follows:

・Free shipping for purchases of 20,000 yen or more (Yamato Transport)
・For orders of 19,999 yen or less
Standard shipping: 780 yen nationwide
Nekopos: 385 yen (for purchases up to 7,000 yen)

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

As a general rule, orders will be shipped within 2-3 business days of receipt. However, orders placed by 2 PM on a business day are expected to ship within 1-2 business days. (For pre-ordered items or custom-made items such as engravings, please refer to the shipping schedule on each product page.)

Once your order has shipped, we will send you an email containing your tracking number and a tracking link. You can check the delivery status from there.

Please note that shipping may be delayed during peak order times. Furthermore, even after shipment, delays may occur due to bad weather, carrier circumstances, or any other reasons. We appreciate your understanding.

Can I specify a time slot?

Excluding "pre-order items," you can specify a delivery date and time from 4 days after the order date. However, for "items requiring engraving preparation," you can specify a delivery date and time from 8 days after the order date.
*Please note that delivery by "Nekoposu" does not allow for time and date specification.

Since it's a detached house, there's no "building name or room number." How should I fill in the address?

Due to system specifications, an error will occur if the "building name, room number" field is left blank.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but please enter "None" and proceed.

Can you send the product to a different location?

Yes. When checking out, please enter the recipient's address in the shipping address field. Please note that addresses are limited to within Japan.

Can I change the delivery location after purchasing a product?

After your order has been shipped, we will send you an email with the tracking number and a tracking link. Please handle it accordingly.

Can you ship overseas?

We only deliver within Japan. However, if you are considering this product as a gift for a customer living overseas, please contact us.

The payment slip was not included.

As part of our paperless initiative, please download your payment slip from the order confirmation email. If you have not received the email, please contact us.

Returns, exchanges, and cancellations

The product I received was different from what I had imagined. Is it possible to return or exchange it?

At LOVST TOKYO, to ensure our customers can enjoy shopping securely online, we offer a return or exchange for unused products, limited to one time only.

In such cases, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your product and return it within 7 days of receipt. We will not be able to accommodate return or exchange requests after this period.

My item arrived, but it was already broken. Can I return a defective product?

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If the product was already damaged upon opening the package, please contact us within 3 days of receiving the product. Also, please return the product within 7 days of receiving it. After inspecting the product, we will exchange it for a new one in accordance with our policy, subject to stock availability. If the item is out of stock, we will issue a refund.

After placing my order, I realized I had made a mistake. Can I change or cancel it?

At LOVST TOKYO, to ensure our customers can shop with peace of mind on our online store, we offer returns and exchanges for unused products only once.

If you notice an order error, please let us know as soon as possible.

If you notice an error after receiving the product, please contact us within 3 days of receiving the product and return it within 7 days of receipt. After this period, we will not be able to accommodate requests for changes or cancellations.

Vegan Leather | About LOVST TOKYO

What is vegan leather?

This refers to leather that does not use animal-derived materials (synthetic leather, artificial leather, plant-based leather).
At LOVST TOKYO, we are committed to developing products that use plant-derived leather, which has an even lower environmental impact.

Why do you use vegan leather?

This is because CO2 emissions from livestock farming are viewed as a problem, and the CO2 emissions from the material in question are said to be about seven times lower than those from animal-derived materials (refer to UN data).

What is vegan apparel (fashion)?

"Vegan fashion" refers to fashion that avoids items made from animal materials, such as fur, leather, suede, down, silk, and pearls, from the perspective of animal liberation.

Environmentally friendly materials such as plant-based vegan leather made from pineapple, apple, or mushrooms, and recycled bottles, are gaining attention.

I am researching veganism. Would you be able to provide an interview or advice for my research?
