With this in mind, we proceeded with development, and the result is an item that we painstakingly crafted in terms of feel, usability, and impact on the global environment.
Made with Japanese apple leather
The material used is "aplena" apple leather, made from apples grown in Aomori.
By adding apple juice pomace to some of the raw materials for synthetic leather, the use of petroleum-derived raw materials is reduced.
This results in a plant-based vegan leather that is considerate of both animals and the global environment.

To address this dilemma, we designed a detachable carabiner.
