For all gift packaging, we use boxes made from "FSC-certified paper," which is sourced with consideration for forest resources.

Apple leather (synthetic leather) is a plant-based vegan leather created by combining apple waste-derived raw materials with polyurethane resin.
It is more environmentally friendly than conventional vegan leather (synthetic/artificial leather) because it uses fewer petroleum-derived raw materials, and it shares the same characteristics as synthetic leather, such as being lightweight and water-resistant.

The resin layer on the surface contains 20-30% apple-derived natural ingredients.
How long does it take for it to degrade?
It is generally said that synthetic leather, which is widely available at low prices, can peel off after two to three years of use.
However, the "Apple Leather" handled by LOVST TOKYO is blended with high-quality polyurethane resin, so it can generally be used safely for five years, although this depends on how it is used.
Furthermore, "Aplena," the domestically produced apple leather used in the Apple Room Key, has passed a 10-year durability standard in a jungle test* that measures the degree of degradation.
*A jungle test is an accelerated degradation test that evaluates the durability of soft leather by placing it in a room artificially created with 95% humidity and a temperature of 70 degrees Celsius to accelerate its degradation.
How do I care for it?
If the surface gets dirty, wipe it with a towel wrung out in warm water. Then, gently wipe it dry with a soft towel.
While it doesn't require special maintenance like animal-based leather, regularly wiping off dirt and moisture to keep it clean will allow you to enjoy it for a longer period.
